Common Questions

Voice recording is not transcribing as expected

Check microphone and speech recognition permissions in iOS Settings. Speak clearly, reduce background noise, and confirm that your language and device support the selected Apple speech recognition mode. Voice recording can still be useful even when transcription is unavailable.

Dreams are not syncing across devices

Confirm that iCloud is enabled for Dream Recall, that each device uses the same Apple ID, and that you have active paid access or restored lifetime access. iCloud changes can take time to appear across devices.

I need to cancel a subscription

Open the iOS Settings app, tap your name, choose Subscriptions, select Dream Recall, and cancel the active subscription. Access remains available until the end of the current billing period.

I need to restore a purchase

Open Dream Recall, go to the purchase or subscription area, and choose Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple ID that made the original purchase.

The WBTB alarm or reminders are not firing

Confirm notification permissions for Dream Recall in iOS Settings, check Focus modes, and make sure the relevant reminder or alarm remains enabled in the app.

I want to export or delete my journal

Use the app's export options when available under your access level. Dream Recall supports export and import in JSON, CSV, and PDF. You can delete individual entries in the app. Deleting the app removes local data from the device, while iCloud data is managed through your Apple ID and iCloud settings.

Report an Issue

Useful reports include what you expected, what happened instead, the steps that reproduce the issue, and whether it happens every time.

Attach screenshots only if they do not reveal private dream content you prefer not to share.
